Jerone Lee's Bio
Jerone Lee is an incredibly gifted saxophonist. His music goes beyond what many talented Christian musicians achieve through their music. His music though entertaining to the senses, possesses a unique anointing and penetrating quality. It touches the
innermost being of the listener ushering them into the wonderful presence of God. At the age of 13, Jerone’s father took him to a little pawn shop in Houston Texas, there he
purchased a saxophone, and told Jerone to take it to church and play it. When Jerone objected, because he didn’t know how to play a saxophone, his father countered with, "If you’ll faithfully take your horn to church, the Lord will bless you to play it." From
that day Jerone never studied music nor had any formal music training and indeed through his faithfulness, God has not only taught him to play the saxophone but also caused his music to be a blessing to the entire body of Christ.
Jerone has ministered in
national conferences, conventions, camp meetings and churches across America, including, Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral, Oral Robert’s Charismatic Bible Conference, Benny Hinn’s Mighty Warriors Conference and Carton Pearson’s Azusa Conference held each
year in Tulsa OK. He can be seen playing saxophone on Carmen’s, "I’ve Got the Joy" video, and has appeared many times on TBN and other Christian TV broadcast and programs across America. His music reaches across racial and denominational boundaries. All who
hears him are extremely blessed by his unique style of presenting the gospel through music. He has received many incredible testimonies, and praise reports from people, who were healed, as he ministered on the saxophone. He is also a recording artist, and has
been blessed to record several wonderful music projects including his latest, a CD project entitled "To God be the Glory." Jerone and his lovely wife Pamela spent 8 months ministering in the
Caribbean Islands of St. Thomas, St.John and St.Croix in the area of music. They established an outreach ministry that invaded impoverished areas with the gospel of Christ. Using music as a drawing tool they ministered to the peoples spiritual needs with the
Gospel and their natural needs by feeding them with food supplied by corporations based in St. Thomas. They have also ministered in, crusades, churches and prisons in Europe, Central America, the Philippine Islands, Bermuda and the Hawaiian Islands.
Jerone is accompanied by his wife Pamela. She is not only a talented keyboard player but a powerful and anointed singer as well. She has sung several times on
(contemporary Christian artist) Carmen’s album projects as well as on the "High Praises" album recorded by Gary Oliver and numerous times with various other choirs and Christian artist. Together Jerone and Pamela offer a complete package of anointed
instrumental and vocal praise and ministry that brings salvation, deliverance, encouragement and healing to all who experience their ministry. Jerone and Pamela are mature Christians and members of Destiny Church in Tulsa, OK where Eastman Curtis is the
pastor. They serve faithful there when they are not on the road.
